“Howl’s Moving castle” is a 2004 Japanese animated film directed and written by Hayao Miyazaki. The film is loosely based on the same title from British novelist Diana Wynne Jones.

Learnings from “Howl’s Moving Castle”
Contrary to Spirited Away or My Neighbor Totoro, the film doesn’t have any innocence. You will like the characters, but you won’t feel sympathy towards them. However, the film doesn’t fall short in showing what the real world is.
Howl’s Moving Castle teaches us a very real-world perspective of love. It’s never rational, and it isn’t always clear all the time. When we think about love, we think of the two parties as delightful and sweet. We imagine that the two will marry because they are worthy of each other, and all the odds conspire to create the perfect situation. But In Howl’s Moving Castle, you won’t experience such a happy story.
